Platform classification
Trade Bot Directory groups platforms into three categories based on what the service actually does, not on how it markets itself.
- Trade Bots are automated platforms that exchange your existing skins for other items. The defining trait is automation: you select items, receive a quote, and the trade is delivered by a bot.
- Markets are peer-to-peer marketplaces where users list, buy, sell, bid, and negotiate. The platform facilitates transactions between users rather than trading from its own inventory.
- Cashout Sites buy your skins for money (crypto, bank transfer, or other payout methods). The defining trait is converting skins to currency.
A service that uses bots to deliver purchased skins is not automatically a Trade Bot. If the core function is selling from inventory to a buyer, it is a Market. If the core function is buying skins for money, it is a Cashout Site. Bots are a delivery mechanism, not a category.
Research process
Platform information is reviewed using publicly available sources:
- Official platform websites
- Official help centers and FAQ pages
- Official fee documentation
- Platform interfaces (where accessible without an account)
- Public terms of service and privacy policies
- Direct communication with platform staff where available
We do not require accounts or paid access to verify listings. Information that can only be confirmed behind a login is marked accordingly.
Fee representation
The directory separates fee types so visitors can compare like for like:
- Trade fees — charged on automated exchanges
- Seller fees — charged when selling on a marketplace
- Buyer fees — charged when purchasing on a marketplace
- Withdrawal fees — charged when moving funds off a platform
- Deposit fees — charged when adding funds
- Pricing spread — the difference between buy and sell prices
- Variable quote pricing — prices that fluctuate based on market conditions
Some platforms use fixed fees; others use variable quotes. We label the pricing model on each listing so visitors know what they are comparing.
Referral relationships
Some outbound links on this directory are referral or affiliate links. This means Trade Bot Directory may earn compensation when a visitor uses the link.
- Affiliate status does not determine category placement
- Sponsored placements are labeled separately and never confused with editorial listings
- Platforms without an affiliate relationship may still be listed
- Referral applications may be pending, meaning a relationship is being arranged but not yet active

Update process
- Last-reviewed dates appear on every listing so visitors can see how recent the information is
- Review-due states indicate a listing is approaching its scheduled re-check
- Platform removals are documented in the Update Log with a public explanation
- Referral-link testing is performed periodically to confirm links are functional
- Public update history is maintained so visitors can see what changed and when
