Advertising Content Policy
Standards for creative content, destination URLs, and prohibited material.
1. Purpose
This policy defines what advertising content is acceptable on the Trade Bot Directory. All creatives must comply with these standards before they are approved for publication.
2. Company identity
The advertiser name, logo, and company identity in the creative must accurately represent the business operating the campaign. Impersonation of other companies or brands is prohibited.
3. Destination URLs
Destination URLs must be live, functional, and lead directly to the advertised service. Redirects to unrelated pages, affiliate links that obscure the final destination, or URLs that require login to view the landing page are prohibited. The destination domain must be listed in the advertiser's approved domains.
4. Prohibited content
- False, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims
- Guaranteed returns, risk-free guarantees, or promises of profit
- Illegal products or services
- Adult, violent, or hateful content
- Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- Malware, phishing, or deceptive downloads
- Content that targets minors
- Political or religious advocacy
- Content that disparages competitors
5. Creative quality
Creatives must meet minimum technical specifications for resolution, file size, and format. Logos must be legible and not pixelated. Text must be readable on all supported devices (desktop, tablet, and mobile).
6. Sponsored labeling
The Trade Bot Directory renders a "Sponsored" or "Featured Partner" label on all paid placements. This label is added by the site and cannot be removed or obscured by the creative. House and default creatives do not display a sponsored label.
7. Category relevance
Creatives placed in a specific category directory (Trade Bots, Cashout, or Markets) must be relevant to that category. We may reject creatives that are not contextually appropriate for the selected placement.
8. Alt text and accessibility
All creatives must include descriptive alt text for accessibility. Alt text should describe the visual content and purpose of the creative, not just the company name.
9. Review process
Each creative is reviewed by our team before approval. Review includes checking company identity, destination validity, domain authorization, logo quality, appearance across devices, readability, alt text, category relevance, and prohibited content. We aim to complete reviews within 24–48 hours.
10. Revisions and rejections
If a creative is not approved, we will provide specific feedback and a revision deadline. Advertisers may submit revised creatives. If a creative is ultimately rejected, the advertiser may request a refund according to our Refund Policy.
11. Post-approval changes
Any change to an approved creative returns it to pending review. The previously approved creative remains active until the new version is approved. Changes marked as non-material by an authorized admin may be exempt from re-review.
